I Forgot To Tell You What Happened On Friday
Days #9, 10, and 11 of The 90-Day Do Something Big Project Yikes, I have to catch you up on three days! I hate playing catch up. There is no video today because I had to loan Cass back her camera that she previously loaned to me and after an hour of attempting to use a different camera, I gave up. Yes, I gave up. Pick and choose your battles. Friday was a good day—up until the very end. The day started with a killer lifting session. I rocked it. And I headed home with a major high. I don’t mention it often but I have this goal of qualifying for the USA Powerlifting Nationals by next year. So I lift. A lot. From there the day progressed with me calling a lot of people who didn’t call me back. And then at 3:12pm I saw an email from Jill come through that read: “OUR FIRST NATIONAL TV BOOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Shaking with excitement I quickly scanned the email. The booking is for a show called The Better Show on the Hallmark Channel. Friday ended with dinner with my mom. It was just what I needed. Saturday and Sunday were super productive. Saturday was comprised of shopping for props and ingredients for Sunday’s recipe making extravaganza. The Christmas Tree store, Target, Michael’s, Wegmans, Michael’s again, the liquor store, home, back to Michael’s, Trader Joe’s, and Target again. Whew! I’m putting together a holiday blog tour in which I’ll be sharing fun ways to gift frosting this holiday season. GIFT FROSTING! Yes. In epic ways. It’s going to be grande. I spent all of yesterday making gift recipes based on recipes from The Dollop Book of Frosting. To my disbelief and sheer elation I was able to bang out all ten creations. I really think you’re going to love what I came up with. On Tuesday Cass and I are shooting the photos for all ten recipes. Getting all these photos finished so quickly is a major success. Once the photos are complete I can begin reaching out and booking bloggers. If you know of someone who you think would like to be involved, shoot me a message.
