Why I made This Cheesy Audition Video
Day #50 of The 90-Day Do Something Big Project A couple days ago an audition notice arrived in my mailbox.
So I figured sure, why not audition? I make crazy food concoctions. I even wrote a recipe for Raspberry Frosting Spinach Salad for The Dollop Book of Frosting.
Besides, it’ll take me two minutes to send an email.
I emailed my headshots, bio, blah blah and the next day I got a reply asking me to come to their casting in NYC this weekend.
Since that wasn’t going to happen the girl said I could shoot a 3-minute audition video.
At first I wasn’t going to bother because I’ve been through this process way too many times without much of an outcome that I didn’t feel like putting the effort in.
But I’m never one to pass up an opportunity so with $20 and three hours time, I whipped up a 3+ minute video, which I posted below for your sheer entertainment.
*They’re not casting till January so don’t bother asking me if I’ve been chosen. I’ll have my people call your people if I am.
