Rap & Recipe: Peppered Maple Bacon Frosted Donut Burger

May 06, 2014

One day last week I felt a strong magnetic pull to write a rap. I think it was Monday. My thought was that maybe I'd be good at it. Real good at it. And if my frosting business failed I could make my living as a rapper: Rapper H. Cupcakes. I got pretty excited. So excited that I immediately sat down to pen my breakout performance. I saw visions of Cristal cupcakes and one day opening for Bone Thugs. They're coming back, you know. But first I needed a recipe to rap about. And that's when I turned to the donut burger. The donut burger is already a thing, I know, I know, BUT the Peppered Maple Bacon Frosted Donut Burger IS NOT. Until now, that is. Thanks to yours truly--H. Cupcakes (yo yo yo). Once you make and taste this Peppered Maple Bacon Frosted Donut Burger, because you WILL be making it (look deep into my eyes), you'll want to kiss me. And thank me. But by then I may be off on tour already, rollin' ten deep, and poppin' collars. So you better hurry up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZE4fjimizkI *Musical accompaniment courtesy of special guest Danny Mark
