As I climbed into my car after doing my first morning segment on Fox Rochester last month to promote the launch of Dollop Gourmet Frosting, I had this wild thought that I should ask the producer for my own weekly segment to air throughout the holiday season. I was totally uncertain of what his answer would be – but if you don’t ask you don’t get… So ask I did, and a weekly segment I got. There’s a lesson here, if you’re looking for one. I’m beyond honored to be offered this opportunity. I adore the team at Fox Rochester, which makes every week I’m on air so much fun! My goal in these TV segments is not to promote my products, but to show viewers that baking, dessert making, or sweet snack creating can be fun, easy, and creative for anyone. Yes, anyone. Even you. And you. And you and you and you! Free car! People always say that baking is a science, but I believe that it doesn’t have to be. It’s much more fun to experiment with ideas than to follow a strict recipe from beginning to end. This is why in each holiday segment I’m showing easy ideas that can inspire you to get in the kitchen and create something sweet of your own, with your own unique style, and your own personal twist.
