Fearless Fall Desserts

Fall is here!! Who's excited?? Not me; I love summer, and I mourn its death. That's why I needed to get myself psyched up with delicious fall recipes. Like these super simple Firebomb Baked Apples! Mmm...

And these healthy Oatmeal Pumpkin Bakes! Ahhh...

Both recipes being perfect for breakfast OR dessert. Morning OR night. Your mouth OR mine. And both use just a dollop of our silky natural gluten-free vegan frostings. Better yet, both of these fall recipes are entirely vegan AND gluten-free! Desserts that anyone can make, and everyone can enjoy. Because that's what fall's all about! Firebomb Baked Apples
Makes 5 apples Ingredients 5 apples 1 cup gluten-free oats 3 Tbsp Dollop Gourmet Firebomb frosting 2 cups apple cider 1/2 cup caramel sauce (optional) 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Core and scoop out the center of each apple. Place apples in a 2 qt baking dish. Pour apple cider in the dish. 2. In a medium bowl mix the oats with the Firebomb frosting. Scoop equal amounts of mixture in each of the five apples. Bake for 50 minutes. Remove from oven, drizzle with caramel, and serve warm. \  
Pumpkin Oatmeal Bakes
Makes 8 Ingredients 2 cups gluten-free oats 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice 1 cup canned pumpkin 1 Tbsp ground flax meal 3 Tbsp water 1/4 cup Dollop Gourmet Hot Chocolate Frosting plus 1/2 cup for decoration 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl mix the flax meal with the water and allow to sit for five minutes. 2. Place oats, baking powder, salt, pumpkin pie spice, flax meal mixture, and 1/4 cup frosting in a bowl and mix well. Add chocolate chips and mix until well incorporated. Portion into lined cupcake tin, filling to the top. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
