Exciting News for Dollop Gourmet

I was sitting at my computer the other day when it dawned on me that I had yet to share any of the ongoing exciting news with you yet. How shameful of me! It’s because of you that this “exciting news” even exists. And how much do you love exciting news?! This week we received word from our Wegmans buyer that Dollop Gourmet Frosting sales are not meeting, but exceeding her expectations. !!!! Shout! Shout! Let it all out! This is thrilling. Truly. This means that you are buying Dollop Gourmet Frosting, loving it, and buying it again. This means that you are telling your friends/coworkers/family about its deliciousness, and that you are helping to grow not just my dream, but also the dream of a small town girl. (Ok, that’s still me, but it bears repeating.) Truthfully though, this isn’t about me; it’s about you. It’s about providing you with an all-natural frosting that is so delicious, so luxurious, and so clean, that you will feel fantastic about eating it and even better about feeding it to your family. It’s about improving the quality of food you put into your body. It’s about creating the highest quality desserts with the most premium and thoughtfully sourced ingredients so that you can enjoy your celebrations worry free, and guilt free. It’s about building a transparent company. A company you can trust. A company that is consistently open, honest, and dedicated to giving back in whatever ways we can. It’s about giving you the best we have to offer. It’s about creating something better. Better tasting, better feeling, and better for you. It’s about inspiring you to be imaginative with the way you experience the sweet things in life. It’s about the joy of real food, for real people, like you. It’s about time. It’s also time for more exciting news! Because you have given Dollop Gourmet Frosting such a welcome reception, Wegmans has decided to double stock Dollop in both the mainline baking aisle (where it currently resides) and in the Nature’s Marketplace beginning next week! This double placement will hopefully boost sales even more by reaching those customers who are shopping strictly for all-natural products and hence aren’t making their way down the main baking aisle in search of frosting.

Also, I want you to know that we listen to you. Always. We’ve received some feedback that the Hot Chocolate frosting is not as spreadable as the other three flavors. (Whoops!) So last month we headed into R&D to resolve this problem - with great success! We're happy to announce that the Hot Chocolate frosting is now as creamy and spreadably soft as naturally possible. To make this happen we added an all-natural non-GMO vegetable extract that will help keep the cocoa powder from sucking up all the moisture. Because that’s what was happening. The cocoa, it got thirsty! We also heard from some people that they’d prefer the Hot Chocolate frosting to be a bit more “chocolatey”. So into R&D we went and out we came with a Hot Chocolate frosting that retains the essence of “Hot Chocolate”, with a bit more emphasis on the “chocolate”! And by God, we have to admit that although this flavor was good before, it’s incredible now. You know, in that can’t-stop-eating “surrender the spoon” kind of way. So we implore you, if you tried the Hot Chocolate frosting before and found it not up to snuff, please give it another go! You won’t regret it. And if you do regret it just send me personally a friendly email with a photo of your receipt and I’ll give you your money back. That’s my promise to you. Lastly, as you pick up your next jars of Dollop Gourmet Frosting you’ll notice a bit of a label change!

It’s what’s on the inside that counts, right? Well that’s what we would like to think. Turns out it’s what’s on the outside that makes us take a chance on the inside! (Sad but true.) So we worked with some experts to make the necessary changes to “warm up” the outside in order to make it match the inside. Now both the inside and outside evoke that warm, welcoming, and luxurious dessert experience that is Dollop Gourmet. Welcome back! Next week I’ll be in California attending the Natural Products Expo which is the largest natural food show in the country!
